INFORMATION SECURITY
Protecting you from hackers by being your hackers
Founded by Johnathan Kuskos in the summer of 2023, Chaotic Good Information Security is a specialized penetration testing firm.
Kuskos is a seasoned expert in cybersecurity, having over a decade of hands-on security engineering and Security Operations Center (SOC) leadership experience. His proficiency in penetration testing and security assessments has earned him multiple industry awards. Companies such as Shopify, Twitter, Mozilla, Google, Meraki, Barracuda, LastPass, and Etsy have publicly acknowledged his contributions in identifying and correcting exploitable vulnerabilities in their customer-facing products.
In the realm of consulting and business engagements, Kuskos has performed security assessments for a significant portion of Fortune 500 companies. His expertise has also benefited countless small to medium-sized enterprises. Over the years, he has held various leadership roles, including those of principal security engineer, manager of application security, director of penetration testing, and head of offensive security. Each of these roles had a common unifying theme, focusing on vulnerabilities that tools and third party consultancies missed.
In addition to his enterprise security tenure, Kuskos has been active in the cybersecurity community. He has served as an OWASP leader for both Houston and Belfast, and for a time ran the Houston Infosec Meetup group. He is currently a contributing member of the Bug Bounty Community of Interest, a consortium of program leaders and Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) practitioners dedicated to developing responsible disclosure frameworks for companies. He’s spoken at RSA, AppSecUSA and AppSecEU(now known as AppSec Global), CONFidence, HoustonTechFest, and numerous BSides and OWASP events all over the country.
